Guest interpretations
Your dream text and optional context are sent to DeepSeek to generate the requested interpretation. Guest dream text is not written to our business database, analytics, or application logs.
Saved journal
Only after you choose “Save to my private journal” and verify your email do we encrypt and store the dream, context, and result. The service and primary database are hosted in the United States.
International processing
Using Mengwen may transfer data across borders: our service is hosted in the United States, and the dream text you submit is processed by DeepSeek. Do not include names, addresses, or other details you do not want processed.
Pattern reviews
A pattern review sends only de-identified categories such as emotions, themes, settings, and character types. It does not send past dream text, your email, or payment information.
Analytics
With your optional consent, our first-party analytics records campaign sources and product events. It never contains email, dream text, or AI output. Essential security and free-usage controls operate without marketing consent.
Payments
Our payment provider processes checkout credentials and receipts. We store only the provider order reference, amount, currency, status, and account entitlement needed to deliver and support the purchase.
Chinese folklore lens
Folklore entries are maintained separately from AI reflections. They are not used in pattern analysis and do not diagnose conditions or predict good or bad fortune.
Deletion and retention
You can delete individual dreams or your account. Journal content and sessions are removed from the live database; limited payment records may be retained where required for tax, fraud, refund, or legal obligations. Backups expire on their normal rotation.
